Chapter 11:
"Are you ok,Skylar?" Jacob voice is worried.
"Yes, I'll be fine."
I get up and shiver from how I'm not isolated by Jacob's warm body. For some reason I start to cry. Tears spilling out of my eyes and I bring a hand to my eye and wipe them away. Jacob's arms are around me laying his chin on top of my head. I sigh and I tell him about my dream or should I say a glimpse of the past.
" Yes, you have the power to call upon all the elements."
I nod like it's the simplest thing ever. I turn around to look at him.
" Will you teach me how to use them,Jacob?"
"Yes when it is the right time I will show you."
I look at the window to check if the demon is still there,but before I can Jacob grabs me and pulls me back.
"No. Your not looking out there again. Tonight, you'll have to stay with me and tomrrow I'll walk with you to school."
" What about my mom and dad? Won't they be worried?"
"Call them and tell them your going to sleepover a friends house. I want you safe,Skylar. I'll do anything to keep you safe."
He kisses me and hands me the phone. I dial my mom's cell number and she picks up.
"Hello?"
" Hi,mom. It's me,Skylar."
"Hi,honey."
"Can I sleepover my friend's house?"
" Sure,honey."
" Thanks,mom. Tell dad I love him."
"Will do,honey."
I hang up the phone and turn to Jacob who has a big grin on his face. He comes to me and pulls me close. Before I can say anything his lips are to mine. And I fall into a daze.
