After destroying the robots that were in there way, the three heroes saw that they had almost come out of the jungle and could see a huge desert up ahead. what they didn't notice, was that Eggman's base was front just in front of them!
frustrated, Knuckles ran into the desert ans said" FIRST THE JUNGLE THEN THOSE DARN MOSQUITOES AND NOW THE DESERT! I'M GOING TO BOIL OUT HERE! WHA!?!" as he was complaining, he saw a strange and mysterious pyramid come out of the ground. after it was fully out, sonic saw eggman's sign on some thing that looked like a door on one of the sides of the pyramid and said"I'm going in there but you two stay out here and keep watch. don't let any body get in the pyramid! O.K.!"and knuckles said"but it's dangerous to go alone!"
