Chapter 23:
"What?!?" Your ex-lover? What's going on,Jacob?"
Jacob lets out a long sigh and explains," A few hundred years back Noelle and I used to be together. We were both angels back then. She told me he loved me one day so we became lovers. Then when she had found out I was banished from Heaven we couldn't see each other anymore. Noelle tried to come down but the Lord wouldn't let her down. So after a hundred years she got herself out of Heaven for me. But my feelings had changed.My feelings had changed when I was assigned to watch over you,Skylar. Anyway,--"
"Whoa wait. How does this lover thing work? How do you know they are your lover?"
Instead of Jacob answering, Noelle answered," It's a gut feeling. You always know. You'll pretty much do anything to keep the other person safe and happy. Isn't that right,Jacob?"
"Yes. But like I was saying after I was assigned to watch over you I knew you were my next and last lover. I knew I wouldn't let anyone come between us. I made a vow to God. Noelle found out and then I never saw her again until today. And I hate her for coming in on our life."
Noelle makes a face at him, but smiles. She says her good-byes and leaves. After I close the door, I think, I'm going to make him forget that she ever came. So I go over to Jacob without looking at him and grab his hand and pull him toward the master bedroom. I push him onto the bed and climb on top of him. Then I take it from there.

"Well, that was just...amazing." Jacob says in awe.
"Listen to my mind. I think I'm still having a lazy day."
(J) Is this better,Skylar?
(S) Yes
(J) I love you,Skylar. So damn much.
(S) I love you too.
I roll on top of him and lay my head on his bare chest. My naked body laying against his felt soft. If I ever got out of control this could be my happy place. The soft thump thumping of Jacob's heart is a nice rythme. Jacob brushes his hand through my hair.
(J) This is nice. I love this. Here.Right now. Why'd you do this?
(S) I thought I could get your mind off of Skylar. And she was sort of pissing me off.
(J) So you tried taking my mind of with...sex?
His body shakes under mine and I know he's laughing. I slap his chest playfully with a grin.
"Stop that. I thought it'd help. Did it not help?"
"No,No. It helped alright. All you really needed to say was 'Let's get your mind off of Noelle' and I would have."
I look up at him and his hand is on my cheek.
"You ARE my only priority. I won't let you go. Even if one day you hate me."
"I'll never hate you,Jacob. I love you."
He hmp's and we lay in bed until it's dinner time. I decide I wanted to cook tonight and make seasoned noodles with shrimp.
"This is really good,Skylar."
"Oh, thank you. I learned from TV. Thank God for that."
We were on the couch eating happily and then we get full.
I look over at Jake he nods.
Bedtime for us.

I open my eyes and I'm not in my body. I'm in...Hell?!!? I look down and see that I'm wearing the exact same clothes as Lucifer was when I saw him.
"Where's a goddamn mirror when you need one!??!"
"Here,sire."
I screech and see a tiny demon holding a mirror. I'm in Lucifer's body. So that means...he's in mine!!!
