anime ouran high school host club
The show is about a girlmight be my favorite characters in the series, Haruhi Fujioka who gets a scholarship to the prestigious Ouran High school, despite being from a poor family. When she arrived at the school, she accidentally stumbled in Music Room #3 and meets the Host Club. She is mistaken as a boy by the members of the club and it takes until the end of the first episode for all of the members of the Host Club to know that Haruhi is a girl.
While in Music Room #3, Haruhi breaks a valuable vase and ends up owing the club 8,000,000 yen (around $80,000). Without a way to pay for the vase, Haruhi is forced into the Host Club to pay off the debt.
The Host Club entertains rich girls by providing them different types of fuel to heat their "burning flames of moe", hence the differences in the members' personalities.
The six male members of the Host Club are Tamaki Suou, Kyoya Ootori, Mitsukuni "Honey" Haninozuka, Takashi "Mori" Morinozuka and the twins: Hikaru and Kaoru Hitachiin.
Tamaki is the founder of the Host Club, often referred to as "King" or "Daddy" by himself or other members of the club. He is charming, yet clueless when it comes to his relationship with Haruhi. He spends most of the series acting as if Haruhi was his daughter instead of coming to terms with his true feelings.
Kyoya is the co-founder of the Host Club. He is the "Cool One" of the club and is also called "Mommy" by Tamaki. He carries around a clipboard, but it is never mentioned what he writes in it. Not much is revealed about him until the later episodes, so I will not go into further detail to prevent any possible spoilers.
Mori is the quiet, mysterious one of the Host Club. Not much is known about him during most of the series, but he follows Honey everywhere. Not in a creepy way though, like in a body guard sort of way.
The twins . They provide the "twincest" factor to the club. They normally speak in unison or finish each others sentances, like they can read each other's minds or something. And they tend to move in a symmetrical fashion, which is kind of creepy at first but quickly becomes very awesome.
This series is funny as hell, but the story goes much deeper than I expected it to. It is definetly on my top five animes I've ever see.
