Some of the older audiences on DN have been notified about the unfiar laws trying to be passed in the United States by the name of SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) and PIPA (Protect IP Act). These laws basically want to "stop piracy". But really, it's an unfair, mess of a bill. I have onlyread three pages of this bill, and believe me, even the president couldn't understand it. It's messy, and sick. It will NOT stop poracy, and they are suing kids YOUR AGE for downloading a song or your favorite movie. For example, this 24 year old college student living in the UK is now getting shipped over to the USA to spend ten years in jail for only LINKING to copyright infringing material. He was not advertising it, nor plastering it all over his site for everyone to see. He only LINKED to it, and now the united states is going to jail YOU for donwloading a Justin Bieber song off of Mega Uploads.
