Horse Image

I'm a member of a site called howrse, and I ahve created a horse coat using this image as a reference. I did not trace but I copied the image , I changed a lot of the horses features but its still slightly recogniseable as the image. Is it ok for me to submit my coat?

 

I just wanted to make sure that i wasn't doing anything illegal or forbidden

I can make good image of horse. I have lunch my image in new contest. Many people like that...

i do not think that is illegal unless the website or the source you got your ideas from says so

yeah i think it is okay to publish it as long as that site haven't asked you not to.
