Pitch Black Death

I didn't think I would've made it. Naka had me by the ankles. After such a fatiguing mental battle in Naka's home world from our last encounter, I wouldn't have guessed he was serious when he said "pity I can't show you my real power". I wimper and snarl. My body is confused. This wretched spell Naka had cast upon me had stoped me from completely changing into a werewolf. Now, a mutant puppy person, wimpering at a demon's feet, ankles bleeding, shoulders aching, pinned to the ground by Naka's big red beasty hands. His hot sour breath, only making me want to curl up and hide even more. "You pesky brat", he snarls, "you're far more trouble than you're worth. Why Elrich bothered highering me for a pathetic little kid like you is far beyond me. Why are you having a death fight between werewolf brothers? On second thought, being that you only have 30 seconds to live, don't waste your breath. I don't wanna know."

Naka raises his other giant blood red paw, then I see a swift movement, and Naka lets up on me, screaming in pain.

I turn to see that the demon had lost its hand to the pure black werewolf. I stare in aw for a moment before my senses return to me. The tingling wears off and my body forces itself into its werewolf form. I growl menicingly as my wounds quickly become healed over. The scent of the blood makes me drool uncontrolibly.

The demon glares at me, then the pure black she werewolf that stole its hand. She was munching away, seemingly oblivious to the fact that she was eating the hand of the most powerful demon of its species. Naka roars a blood curtuling roar that made me shiver and my ears hurt. The stentch of his breath was worse than ever.

Naka had lost all control of his emotions. He morphed into a giant beast. One with 6 pumba heads, a dragon with twenty horns on its head, 3 bear heads and what appears to have been a mutilated triceritops head over the heart, 53 snake heads (3 on rear, 10 on each ankle and 10 covering its back)and 4 pairs of wings, purple dragon wings (2 pairs) and large scarlet feathered wings (2 pairs). Of course, his right hand was still missing, so it didn't look like it could run to fast. Even with its giant sharp lion claws.

Naka roars again and then leaps. He's still bleeding, but the flow has dramatically lessened. The black she werewolf and I start running in sync right next to each other, avoiding the disgusting odor of acid Naka is spitting. I couldn't tell which was worse, Naka's breath, or his accuracy. On how fast me and her were running, Naka easily surpassed us, but then we sped up whenever he slowed down. Whenever Naka did get a clear shot, he missed by at least 200 feet. I'd hate to be the person to pay all the medical bills and pay for all the damage Naka created in this game of chase.

Eventually Naka was starting to get fatiuged. On how large his body was, it was not crafted for long, 3 minute flights. He tries to land on us, but we easily evade and grab a big mouth full of snake heads and knaw them right off. Naka cries in pain, and we continue carefully, as to not get bitten. This is to easy, I mentally told the she werewolf. She nods and we seperate just in time to avoid a giant burst of intense purple flames. Everything near it and touched it was singed far beyond repair. My eyes and nose were burning, the scent was almost as bad as Naka's breath.

Lucky us, the flames engulfed so much that they could not spread. I noticed the she werewolf was still running, but on all fours. This was not a good sign. Werewolves like us instinctively go on all fours in a brawl if its because we're hunting or if we are attacked by something far more powerful than us.

The she werewolf forced me to start running on all fours. I wonder what we look like to Naka, a black and a silver werewolf pack zig zagging across his feet. Naka starts taking in deap breaths. Me and her both know he's planning to deafen us with a screech, blind us with the fire and make our noses useless with his terrible breath. The she werewolf pounced at the mutilated triceritops head and digs her claws in deep. Naka abandons his previous actions and starts shaking wildly. I know her plan.

While Naka was destracted, I silently crept around to the side of him. I lept as high as I could go and dug mu claws into his thigh.

Naka starts running wildly and then drops head first into the ground. Without thinking, I jump onto Naka's back where the neck and spine connect, and dig my teeth in. Naka screams for a sheer second, then, all of Naka falls apart, until there's nothing left of him.

I look for the black she werewolf, but can't see her. Then, I smell blood. Werewolf blood. I follow the scent to find a crumpled body of the black she werewolf, flattened by Naka's huge girth. Tears start coming to my eyes, but my wolf won't let any see. I run until I feel a deep thirst. I pick up a scent of water and follow it. My mind as empty of thoughts as an abandoned home is empty of people.

However, this did not last. Thoughts of my brother had returned. Thoughts of my sorrowful past started filling my head. Even my hunger for blood, for fresh meat, died out from my feelings of despair. I wandered blindly away from the best mentor and guardian I had ever had.

Pained Edge

I manage a burst of speed, but it only lasted for a short moment before the pain made me slow down a bit. I run, I still hadn't mastered my morphing. I was half running half limping, the large cut on my leg from Elrich slashing at my theigh was making me nausiated and light headed, but I knew it was running or death from Elrich.

The bleeding suddenly stopped after about a minute of running, but I was more focused on running than caring about my wound. The storm picked up, it became a blinding blizzard.

Loud howling in the distance, but still far to close for comfort. I know he's after me. I also know that I can't let Elrich near Moona or Jak, it would only make the sting worse on my heart. The gore of watching mother die before my eyes was dramatizing, but as I've said, I have no time to think about it right now.

My panting quickened, my body trembled and shuddered, my entier body began to ache. I could feel the tingling tickling sensation of hair growing all over me. I started running on all fours and then, after about 10 seconds of unbearable pain, I realized I had changed for the third time.

My body was slightly different from my last change, as if I become more and more werewolf the more I change.

I stop. I realize now that that is what happened. I never bothered with Elrich enough to pay attention at his morphing, but now that I've looked more closely, I realize there is a change. I felt to weak to run and decide to stare at my paws for a moment to see any  cuts other injuries that I should be concered about. I start to feel hot breath going down my neck. The smell of blood and something else in the air.

I turn around to realize the one thing Elrich and I do not share, the one thing I had suspected, we do not share our werewolf selves.

My body was more wolf like with a longer tail. Elrich has been changing for the past 9 years, but we were almost the same height. Of course, he was still taller and more muscular than me, but barely.

He snarls. A huge wave of terrible breath along with the scent of blood gets blasted through my nostrils. My fighting instincts fail to comprehend the situation. My werewolf body refuses to fight its own kind. Of course, this did not apply for Elrich. He had total dominance of his wolf and pounced on me.

He continually tried to bite at my throat, a death attack I myself had learned when the she werewolf had taught me to hunt in my werewolf body. I kept putting my arms in the way and trying to roll him off. It happened so fast, it was all a blur. At some point, he grabed me by the waist and hurled me at a tree. My head and nose felt the full impact. I could barely stay concious as I continued to try and flee. My eyes started failing, my muscles were straining and I felt Elrich leap on top of me. My muscles had taken to much and gave up on me too. I crashed into the hard dirt covered ground. Before blacking out completely I could feel a slight sting of a bite on my spine, where it becomes the neck, and then being picked up and dragged away.

When I regained concious, Elrich was nowhere to be seen. I was in a small dark room, alone. I tried moving my hands, but they were shackled by cuffs. Elrich returns, a dark look on his face.

For the next 8 days this repeated. Bathroom break, small meal, outside (if asked and watched), another small meal and then Elrich and me alone quietly. On the 9th day, I had developed a plan to escape.

Sorrowful Reunion

I wave Jak goodbye. The last day we'll meet until the end of winter break. About a month ago, I would be jumping and screaming like a madman at the starting of winter break, but since all this freaky stuff started happening, along with me finding out about my werewolf recently, I've really been more scared than happy for the break to start. I notice Moona isn't around. She hasn't been seen for a while now and I'm really concerned.

I take a deep breath and sigh. The steam blinds be for a minute. I stand alone in the field, the snow keeps falling. The gentle kiss of the snow on my nose manages to snap me back into attention after a while. I start to walk home. Lound CRUNCH, CRUNCH, CRUNCH noises linger as long as the feeling of the snow on my nose. I feel my eyes burning with hot tears. The thought of going home made me want to lay down and cry until I froze to death in the snow. I couldn't choose any other way though. If I stayed at Jak's anymore, he'd get suspicious, and I can't find Moona. The thought that she might be dead makes me shiver horribly.

I know there isn't much I can do about the situation, but what else can I do but be dragged along the path being carved out for me by some unseable force?

I walk slowly. My head filled with nothing but sad, scary thoughts. My head was down, but I could see the path with what little sight I could spare. My eyes were burning so badly because of the cold air and the hot tears streaming down my face.

I broke into a run. I didn't know where I wanted to go, or why I even started to run, but my legs refused to stop after they started. I was starting to feel horribly choked up with the thought of my friends getting killed because of me, or even ME killing them. My werewolf self, maming them so viciously....

Before I knew it, I ran head first into my home. I stared at it. The hot tears started to sting my cheeks, but I didn't care. I burst through the old wooden door. The scents of all those years I spent there and everything that happened suddenly started drifting back to me. There was one thing here that made it have an eerie sense of forboding, all the lights were off.

"Hello Silvia." said a voice from somewhere else in the room. It was to dark to see anything. I rub my hand against the wall where the light switch usually is. I manage to find it quickly, and before thinking, flip it, only to be shocked with horror at what I saw.

I saw Elrich behind mother. Mother was all tied up and bleeding. Elrich had a knife covered in blood, mother's blood. I stare at him, completely speechless.

At that moment, I was both happy and horrified. Happy, because mother was no longer missing, and horrified at what Elrich had done to her.

"Elrich...." I manage to sputter. "Don't bother, freak." he snarled at me. He looked down at mother, "Now...." he said with a dark tone in his voice, "Do you remember this stranger now?" She looked up at me. "He's..... my son...." I could tell by how she said it that it was a strain for every word. "NO!" Elrich screams, "I'M YOUR SON! YOUR ONLY SON!" I take a step back. What was Elrich saying? We're not twins? How could that be? He mustive gone insane for some reason, or maybe there's something more. No, he has to be insane, how could we not be twin brothers if we're so alike, apart from the insanity thing.

"L-leave her alone Elrich." it sounds more like a pleading whimper than a demand. He glares at me, "I didn't forget. You make her remember too or I'll.... I'll....." he looks down and raises his knife. "Elrich, please don't!" He looks back at me, a emotionless face, "Make her remember." "Remember what?" my voice is managing to only make me seem more weak. An eerie silence followed. The cold blowing in made it even more eerie. It was like something out of a horror film.

"You don't remember either..." he mumbled. His arm still in the air above mother's head, his face towards the ground again. "Let her go!" I scream at him. All my panic is bubling into rage at what he's doing.

He tilts his head up some so that he stares down at mother's head. Elrich lowers his arm like an axe. I don't even have enough time before Elrich drives his knife into mother's skull, making a gentle woosh as it went down, killing her instantly. My heart stopped at the sight of it, my eyes wouldn't look away. I started hyperventalating dramatically.

"Now it's your turn monster." His voice was as cold as the air and as dead as mother. I saw his skin starting to change, his mouth begining to lengthen, fingers and nails lengthening. Sharp tips at the end of each nail. Ears began replacing themselves more up his skull. I knew he was morphing and I would be dead meat the moment he finished. I managed to force myself to turn and run. However, this change was faster than I've ever seen him morph. He managed to get one good slash at my thigh, but it was to hasty, and he couldn't stop. He cut through my leg, right to the bone, but pushed his arm right through the wall. He was stuck, but only temporary. I started running out the door, the pain made me cringe at every step with it, I was sure to bleed to death without medical help on this cold winter's afternoon.

                                    The Truth At Last

It was a hazy black night and I looked up into the sky. The stars were glinting brightly, and the moon was a bright slit in the sky. Looking back down, I noticed dark trees towering around me. I'm in the forest, I thought to myself. I shivered as a cold wind blew past. I looked around again and something caught my eye. Through the dark woods, I saw a pair of eyes, one bright yellow, the other one black.

Startled, I backed away. The creature moved out of the darkness, and revealed itself. It was a strange-looking strong female wolf, but with magical-looking long fur. Her black pelt was stunning.

Her eyes glinted and i noticed they had even more beauty. The bright yellow eye was narrowed. The other eye was bloodshot, wide open and completely black.

The wolf padded closer, and I backed away even more but I stumbled over a stick and fell. Frightened, I grabbed the stick I tripped over and started slashing it to keep the she-wolf away. The beautiful black creature sat down and growled frustratedly. I calmed himself, and dropped the stick.

A short while after that, I heard the voice of the she-wolf. I knew she was just growling but i could understand everything.

         "Welcome, Silvia."  She rasped.

Uhh, yeah hi to you too.

"You no normal human." The she-wolf said in a strange accent.

Yeah, because a wolf is talking to me.

"And apart that, you no an ordinary species of kind...something strange about you, but for now, you need to know the truth. Silvia, you a werewolf."

I looked at the wolf in disbelief for a long time.

"What." I said after a long time.

"You are a genetic werewolf. One of us." She bared her teeth in a strange grin, drool dripping on the ground below.

But I wasn't listening. I had picked up the stick, and was fiddling with it. I stopped when i heard a growl. Looking up, i saw the she-wolf narrow her eyes to complete slits and stand up in an aggresive pose baring her teeth. I stared at her for a long time, then stuck out my toungue mockingly.

"YOU LISTEN!" She screamed, then pounced, spit flying out of her gaping mouth, teeth glinting, and her eyes open wide, bulging with rage. I closed my eyes and braced myself, my hands holding the stick as a shield in front of me.

I heard a loud snap. At first i thought it was my bones, but when i opened my eyes i saw the wolf with the broken stick in her jaws, her eyes still wide with anger, her body tense.

"This a dream, Silvia, after wake up, meet me here in real life. I show you then." She growled as the oblitherated stick starting to crumble.

           "Your crazy lady!!" I screamed.

A strong breeze blew past, swiping the crumbly remains of the stick away. Just as the stick had crumbled, the dream crumbled before my eyes. I opened my eyes, and here I was, in my bedroom again, my neck sweating and my hands clenched.

Ah, just a stupid dream... i'll just go back to sleep... I thought.

I couldn't get the image out of my head of how the beautiful black she-wolf's eyes had looked, narrowed, with a knowing touch as if she knew what would happen and what she would have to do. The dream had seemed so real. Even the trees and the midnight breeze were convincing.

I rolled in my bed and tried to go back to sleep, but I couldn't shake the feeling that the dream was important somehow, and I had a longing to go to the forest near my house. Finally I couldn't fight the urge anymore, and I climbed out of my window and creeped into the woods.

Better be careful, I thought. Who knows how many creepos stalk out in the forest at this time.

I found the place easily, it was where the moon seemed right above me, where the trees were ragged, bent and they curved as they grew, and their growth formed a small clearing, perfect for meeting. It also wasn't very far into the forest at all. I saw the magical eyes of the she-wolf in the shadows, and she padded closer just as she had done in the dream.

"So how can you prove i'm a werewolf?" I said at once, clearly wanting the answer.

"Like this," The she-wolf said simply.

She swished her tail once, and a powerful light blinded me. I suddenly felt horrible pain, I could hardly bear it. My back started arching uncomfortably, so I crouched down. I knew the transformation wasn't over, so I quickly posed myself exactly as the she-wolf was stanced, knowing it would be quicker and less painful if I did so.

My finger bones were cracking into place, and I yelled in pain. My arms and legs then started bending, there were pops, and my hands and fingers formed into paws with talon-like claws at the end. My ears were bending, and I was glad there were no bones in them. My nose uncomfortably stretched into a finely shaped wolf muzzle, and my eyes grew keener, so I could see better in the dark and clearer overall.

Something twitched behind me; it was the long white tail I had grown. I could no longer feel the breeze, considering I had grown tons of fur, long fine and white, and my ear and tail tips were black.

I felt a wonderful burning in his belly, like strength welling inside him, but I also felt strange. Like I had more power he could understand.

With horror, I looked down at myself. I was a werewolf. My clothes no longer fit me properly. With a growl, I ripped them apart.

"Ok," I growled determitedly. "I'm a werewolf. You win."

"Win?" She growled. "I know nothing of the sort. I keep surviving each day. I have ripped apart everything that try to stand in way of that! Untill now i have done nothing else.  But now i have you..." She bared her teeth. "Winning battle meant nothing before. The real battle just begun."

That was a day I would never forget. It had been weeks since then. It was almost winter break, but it wasn't the same. I felt a little like it wasn't real, that I had never had that dream, or met a werewolf. But I knew that it was very real.

I thought.
