Anime/Manga Releases Delayed/Cancelled After Quake
Not that it matters, but It did effect some of my plans on buying blu-ray DvDs so check it over yourself.
The following anime, manga, and related releases have been delayed or cancelled in Japan due to the March 11 earthquake (Tōhoku Chihō Taiheiyō-oki Jishin) and tsunami:

This year's 16th issue of <cite>Weekly <cite class="e anime">Shonen Sunday</cite></cite> magazine has been delayed one day or longer (depending on the area) from its previously scheduled date of Wednesday, March 16. The compiled book volumes of manga that were previously scheduled for Friday, March 18 has been delayed one day or longer
The anime series did not air on <cite class="e company">TV Tokyo</cite> on March 11 during the emergency earthquake special programming. The anime will not air on <cite class="e company">TV Aichi</cite> on March 21, <cite class="e company">TV Osaka</cite> on March 22, <cite class="e company">TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting</cite> on March 23, and <cite class="e company">TV Setouchi</cite> on March 23. When the anime resumes on <cite class="e company">TV Asahi</cite>, TVQ, and <cite class="e company">TV Setouchi</cite>, it will be in rescheduled timeslots.
The official website of the <cite class="e anime">DD Hokuto no Ken</cite> television Flash anime series announced that the 10th episode did not air on Tuesday, March 15 as scheduled due to the earthquake-related programming changes.
This year's 16th issue of <cite class="e company">Kodansha</cite>'s <cite><cite class="e anime">Weekly Shonen Magazine</cite></cite> has been delayed one day or longer (depending on the area) from its previously scheduled date of Wednesday, March 16 due to the earthquake. <cite class="e company">Kodansha</cite> anticipates that future issues will also be delayed.
The official blog of the <cite class="e anime">Aquarion</cite> anime <cite class="e lexicon">franchise</cite> announced on Wednesday that the <cite class="e anime">Aquarion</cite> Kanzen Gattai Blu-ray Box has been delayed from March 23 to March 30 due to the earthquake's effects on shipping.
The movie company <cite class="e company">Toei</cite> announced on Wednesday that the upcoming 35th anniversary Super Sentai project, <cite>Gokaiger Goseiger Super Sentai 199 Hero Daikessen</cite>, has had its production schedule delayed by the earthquake. As a result, the live-action special-effects film's opening has been delayed from the original May 21 date. The new opening date will be announced on the official website.
