How to draw a Golden Retriever puppy
The Golden Retriever is one of the most intelligent and friendly dogs I know. This little puppy playing with a brush was just too cute to resist. I just had to draw him... so here he is!
I've done the guidelines in a light grey pencil starting with a circle for his head. After drawing the guidelines for the eyes and nose, I've drawn a rough circle as a guide for the shape of the puppy's snout. Simple shapes make up the rest of the guidelines for his body.
Next I filled in the details with a black pencil. Instead of doing a plain straight line, I have broken up the line with dots and dashes to give my puppy a furry look. I erased the guidelines with white pencil.
I've used a light transparent brown to fill in the body and a darker shade of the same colour to fill in the ears and tail. For the shadows on the body I have used an in between tone. To add to my puppy's furry look, I've done some more shading with the pencil inthree different shades of brown and also added white for the highlights on the puppy's shiny fur.
