The sedate windmill tirelessly going round and round takes me to another time and place. It has helped to shape the history of many a country in running mills and foundries, besides irrigating miles of corn fields. This is a really nice theme for saving the environment for your school's exhibition, or to put up on your wall.
In this tutorial, I will show you step by step how to draw one.
Step 1
Draw the guidelines with gray pencil, starting with a triangle and a rectangle. Add the base of the windmill. It looks a lot like a rocket ship. Next draw the blades. Note the perspective in which you draw them carefully. The first blade gives the illusion of depth. Following the same profile, do the other blades.
Step 2
For coloring the windmill, I have used the pencil tool. To give the blades depth I’ve airbrushed some gray.
Step 3
I've used the airbrush tool for the greenery in the back ground. That ends this tutorial on how to draw a windmill.
