Victor is banished until he can learn to recite his wedding vows properly. wandering in the forest to practice a mock recital, he places his bride’s wedding ring on a tree root which comes to life. Emily, the "Corpse Bride," an undead girl in a moldy bridal gown emerges to declare Victor her husband.
Step 1 -
This is a Close Up of Corpse Bride. I began this sketch with thin pencil lines for guidelines. The face is round and the neck is thin and long. The hair is stringy and falls over the bony shoulders. I drew horizontal lines to align the magnified eyes, one vertical curve to centre the nose and lips.
Step 2-
I used the airbrush for the skin in a moldy grey green. The darks and highlights of the eyes are in pale grey outlined with a thin black pencil and eyelashes and eyebrows stroked in. The ruby red mouth has thick lips that smile. I painted the hair with an airbrush and shades of violet pencilled over it.
Step 3-
To finish the drawing I used the airbrush for the veil in shades of grey and finally the pencil for the roses in her tiara.
Corpse Bride Emily is ready to take the dead by storm.
