The other day I asked my little brother what he thought about the Nintendo video game Mario Bros. He said he feels kinda sorry for Mario. When I asked him why he said its because Mario must have a splitting head ache from hitting all those rocks! LOL : ) So for all the fans of the super Mario world out there… this drawing tutorial is on How to draw super Mario. Gotta love the Super Mario Bros : ).

Step 1
Sketch the guidelines for Super Mario’s head and ear. You’ll notice that Mario is made up of a lot of rounded shapes.

Step 2
For this tutorial I’ve done the colouring first with the airbrush tool. The outlines will be in the next step.

Step 3
Make the outer outline very thick, but the inner lies thin. This way you get a bold outline, but your picture is not too dark. Draw the highlights and shadows with a thick pencil line to give your Mario that extra punch.
