How to Draw Lucy from Elfen Lied-


The teenage Diclonius girl "Lucy" was rejected by humans and she wreaks vengeance upon them. The Diclonius is a mutant species that looks like humans but have two horns on their head and telekinetically controlled arms that can manipulate and cut objects.


Step 1 -


This Close Up of Lucy is dominated by her thick hair that falls in bangs over her eyes, and her extra large eyes of which only one is visible.

I started with guidelines in grey pencil of the face cut and pointed chin. Then put in lines to guide the fall of the hair, the shoulders and the fingers boxed in.


Step 2 -


Next I used black pencil outlines for the details and then erased the guidelines with white paint.


Step 3 -


I filled in the colors with transparent paint - the flesh tint is a pale pink used with the paint bucket tool. The hair I colored with shades of red and the box in browns. Her eye is red with a black pupil and white highlights to add that extra glow.
