and think it has a great affect.
Series 1: Tortoise
Series 2: Snakes
Series 3: Lizards.
The tortoise poem.
Not commited for copy right (please note I don't know what I just said.)
By Me
Plod, Plod, Plod.
Chew, chew, chew.
I'm an everyday tortoise, munching, there's really nothing new.
I could tell tales of wide wisdom.
I hide secrets within my shell.
But to you I am just
Plod, plod, plod
Chew, chew, chew
I could tell you about the dinosaurs,
If you want me to.
But you never bothered to ask:
Didn't you?
To you all I am is
Plod, plod, plod
Chew, chew, chew
Then from the glass of the window leaned Lucy,
Little Lucy,
And I knew that to her I wasn't
Plod, plod, plod
chew, chew, chew
She held me in her arms, her warm cosy arms.
I'm sorry if I scratched, I didn't try to.
But when people would say “OUCH”
And drop me on the floor.
You just held me closer and loved me more and more.
Plod, plod, plod
Chew, chew, chew
And in 48 hours there was something excetremly new!
I moved into your house.
With blue coloured walls.
I knew you wanted me to stay.
I don't have ears but with your heart I heard you say:
“ Stay with me Totty, MY beloved pet. Stay with me forever unilt my Sun has set.”
