In the falling darkness we traded vows of revolution,
And in the dawns day light we noticed life was too translucent,
so we drew our weapons only thinking of a better future,
and loaded them, our rifles with only thoughts of pure solution.

Within expanding darkness we traded vows of revolution,
And in the end our revolution grew to be reality,
But throughout the time of change we lost our strong vitality,
And in the time of all confusion up arose totality.

A little bird had suddenly flow up and through my window,
A trickster who convinced me my ideals should be reality,
My own lack of wisdom forced me to heed his every word,
And through my foolish blunder I lost my impartiality.

I thought to myself that one day, I could be a king,
A ruler that would adhere to the peoples every wish,
But my ideals were to perfective like a Frenchmen’s dish,
And soon I learnt the owl had chosen to fracture my mirror.

The damaged window pain that faced me on the bathroom wall,
it was an important sign, a message left in code,
And all though it seemed insignificant the message made me quiver,
it signified that I had not the qualification to deliver.

The young fool that I was had failed to realize that the trickster,
Had effectively sent me so head strong to my doom,
Although I did impress the bird, although I never gloomed,
The promises I’ve kept have proven that I’m but a fool,

For now that I have satisfied the people in my land,
The many other nations that surround us have been maddened,
And now my life is threatened as they want my head and banner,
Attended to my people and neglected all our allies.

A fool could say he sparks his revolution for the people,
But such a person could be said to be simply too fickle,
For people often fail to see the picture in the light,
As far too many try to look upon it in eternal night.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>
