Today me and a handful of other people from my school went to this centre for a 'math celebration'. I wasn't too sure what it was all about until we got there. There were a people from other schools too. Only 'the best' math people were chosen to go there. Lol, dunno how I made it in.
There were a ton of snacks, but I was too distracted by this puzzle game on my friend's phone to eat very much. Lol, I kept raging at it.
Anywayyy. The ceremony thing began and certificates of participation or achievement or something were handed out and we shook hands with random dudes in suits.
After that was a cookie break, then the competition. There was a pair of juniors and a pair of seniors from each school competing. I didn't compete, but my friend did. The deal was that the dude would say the question (it was also being projected), and after he finished they could buzz in and answer. There were some scary good mathmeticians there. Some finished answered the question the moment the guy stopped talking, while I barely even had time to understand the question. Some of the question I was like, "Wtheck is this?!?!?!." And they're only highschooler, mahn. I could only find the answers to, like, two questions before they could, and those were more or less random guesses. o.0
