Okay, I learned this one yesterday. I'll walk you through the steps here, explaining why I do, what I do.
Step 1: Because he's a model, his eyelashes are thicker than the other guys in the series. Except for Kaname, who appears to have abormally huge eyelashes, at least for a male.
Step 2: Because of him being half asleep all the time, he has large skin folds. They show that his eye is usually half open. If you're drawing him surprised, remember to make it smaller.
Step 3: His actual iris and pupil. Well, these look relaxed most of the time. They also shoot a cold glare, probably passed down from his father.
Step 4: His eyebrow is thick inward, but thin outward. It makes him look cute, but bored, when sad. Also helps to make him look menacing whenn he's angry... as long as his hair doesn't cover it.
Step 5: The colour for his brow is pretty much the same as with his hair. A soft brown-red, that resembles blood, somewhat.
Step 6: His eye colour is unique. I usually say it's an ice colour. Also helps him look like he's shooting icicles, sometimes.
Finishing touches: Because you coloured over the pupil a bit, make it clear again. Also, I didn't show this, but try to make the lashes look more realistic. Such as making a few strands come of the edge. It's a really effective way to make an anime/manga character look more attractive.
Well, did I help anyone? I won't draw a male until I get a tablet. I've only drawn a decent male twice in my lifetime, so not now. I'll take pictures when I finish this next one~. ^^ I'll post a WIP of it soon. It is Shiki, if you couldn't guess.
Fun Fact: Shiki's given name, Senri, is your dad's name in Japan in Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald.
